Joshua's compositions feature heavily with big band and fusion in mind with compositions of his like "Get F*nked!", which blends the genres of funk and metal together in a way that is harmonious, yet disjunct in a manner that brings variety not just with the piece, but within the piece itself. Joshua has also written for small jazz groups ranging from chord-less trios with his tune "Blues Is Me" to medium-sized ensembles with his arrangement of "I Got Rhythm". Joshua continues to expand his catalogue of original works for jazz bands and ensembles of all shapes and sizes, and is available for commission in such styles, with more being offered in the near future
