MUSIC TUTOR A professional-level musician/teacher who is contracted to teach private instrumental/vocal lessons in performance and/or to coach/lead/conduct music performance sectionals in courses (i.e. chamber music ensembles, jazz combos, world music ensembles, choirs, workshops, repertoire choirs etc.) and other related duties as assigned by your band director director.
Joshua's experience and degree certifications has afforded him the knowledge and ability to provide private and group tutoring for individuals, schools, and studios both online and on site. His tutor offerings include trombone, bass trombone, music theory, sight-singing and ear training, music theory from the high school AP level to collegiate music theory level, composition arranging, jazz composition and arranging, and jazz improvisation and techniques. Joshua's services are open to students of all ages and capabilities, and are tailored to all learning and practicing styles. Joshua also provides lessons in the same disciplines at Unison Studios in Boerne, TX for both online and on-site lessons for 35 minute and one hour lessons.
